Are you kidding

Last night after John McCain finished up his speech at the RNC I decided to flip between a few of the cable news networks to see the different types of reaction. The first stop that I made was CNN. This station is becoming more and more of a joke. I was expecting some sort of recap or commentary on McCains speech. What I saw just solidified my belief that CNN is the most left wing media outlet on the planet. Instead of having some sort of panel bashing the GOP(which I expected) they had on Showbiz Tonight with the main topic of the night....Sarah Palin and her lack of style.......are you kidding me??? This is the big debate of the night. CNN thinks so highly of themselves that they just dismiss the convention and start bashing the VP nominee based on how she wears her hair. Its just funny that this is where the big bad CNN chooses to allocate its time. No don't focus on the issues, it is much more important to destroy someone by picking apart their style choices. Only the elite, I am better than you left wing liberal snobs would try and do this. Sorry libs not everyone has your sense of high fashion or stick up the butt syndrome.  Most people in this country  respect people that they can  relate to. Someone that talks like them, acts like them, dresses like them.........and doesn't try to pretend to be like them like so many fail to do. Sarah has said it over and over she is not here to win over the "do it my way or we don't like you media" she is here to serve the people. So if that is something that the media wants to bash go ahead. It will just turn off more people than it turns on. There are more average joes in this country than "holier than thou" snobs.......keep pushing see what happens.

First of many

I have to admit that posting a blog about my opinion was something I have been hesitant about. Over the last few days everything I have been hearing in the media has changed my mind. So please forgive me if my first post is a bit crude.

It is funny to watch all of the different ways that people react to an election year, especially an election of this magnitude. The media keep saying they are reporting the news fair and balanced is as transparent as freshly cleaned glass(with streak free Windex). I have been doing my best to try and watch all of the different cable news stations to give them all a fair shake. It’s just unfortunate that they are not doing the same for the American people. One of the most laughable news stations I have to say would be MSNBC. It is hard to keep from flipping the channel after only five minutes. MSNBC is slanted so far left that I have to give CNN thumbs up during this election year, but only for one thing. That one thing is Glen Beck. Now of course I can not leave out Fox News. In the past and currently Fox News is always being accused of being slanted towards the right. Maybe they are a little but at least they do it with professionalism. What I mean is that Fox does not take it to playground level. Far too often the left slanted media resorts to name calling and circle games of miss-direction. Maybe that is why there are no big liberal media personalities like Rush Limbaugh or Sean Hannity. No one could stand to listen to them.

It’s sad that in this day an age with all of the means to get the information for yourself. Most people still would rather have someone else think for them and tell them what to do. All I can say is think for yourself and make your own choice with the right facts.

Like I said this is a warm up blog I will get the train rolling here in the next couple blogs
